WORLD STROKE DAY CELEBRATION STAGE HCTM October 27, 2016
Hospital Canselor Tunku Muhriz held its inaugural World Stroke Day celebration on the 27th October 2016. The event was organised by the Department of Internal Medicine and was officiated by Dato ‘Dr Hj Azman bin Hj Abu Bakar, Director of Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Stroke is Treatable”.
KEKASIH, a support group for stroke survivors and caregivers based at the Department of Family Medicine’s primary care clinic, participated in the event by putting up a booth to introduce the activities organised by the club, as well as to recruit new members.
KEKASIH president, Mr Palahuddin had the opportunity to brief the guest of honour, Dato ‘Dr Hj Azman about the club and also present a souvenir of the club’s KEKASIH t-shirt . Congratulations to all members of the club and staff of Klinik Primer UKM Cheras for the excellent teamwork and commitment for the event!
