PROGRAM BACKGROUND
The aim of this visit was to gather information and explore ideas on how to improve the quality of primary care delivery. Areas which were of prime concern were patient satisfaction in general and patients with diabetes in particular. The program also aimed to develop a platform for expertise and knowledge sharing to produce quality diabetes care service which is sustainable and competitive. Through this program, the department’s objective to provide quality service guided by humanitarian values which emphasize on health promotion, prevention and rehabilitation, as well as curative care. It is hoped that the participants would be motivated to apply the knowledge and skills obtained from this visit for use in the new Klinik Primer Cheras at Plaza Dwitasik.
OBJECTIVES
- Explore and plan new ideas towards improving diabetic patient care services
- Improve the staff’s knowledge and skills through smart information and expertise sharing
- Produce a work culture that is improvement-orientated through exploration and generation of ideas
