Bingkisan Kasih Aidilfitri HCTM Programme

The Bingkisan Kasih Aidilfitri HCTM Programme 2026, organised by Director Office, was held on 16 March 2026. The programme aimed to reach out to patients in the wards as a gesture of care and compassion from HCTM in conjunction with the upcoming Syawal 1447H celebration.

A total of 120 care package hampers were presented by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM, together with members of the HCTM Management team, to patients receiving treatment in the wards. The selected wards that received the hampers included the Orthopaedic Ward, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ward, Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, and Oncology Ward.

It is hoped that this contribution will bring joy and comfort to patients undergoing treatment at the hospital in anticipation of the Aidilfitri celebration.

Also present at the programme were Prof. Emeritus Dr. Mohamad Abd Razak, Chairman of the Board of Visitors, members of the Board of Visitors, Heads of Departments under the portfolio of the Deputy Director (Diagnostic, Pharmacy and Support Services), as well as the programme secretariat.

Program Sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina Peringkat Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) 2026 telah diadakan pada 3 Mac 2026 bertempat di Ruang Galeri, Kompleks Pendidikan Perubatan Canselor Tuanku Ja’afar, HCTM. Penganjuran program ini bertujuan menghargai warga kerja HCTM berbangsa Cina sempena sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina yang diraikan pada bulan Februari yang lepas. Seramai 44 orang kakitangan telah diraikan melalui penyampaian cenderamata sebagai simbol penghargaan atas dedikasi, kesetiaan dan sumbangan mereka dalam memastikan perkhidmatan kesihatan di HCTM terus cemerlang. Majlis yang berlangsung secara sederhana tetapi bermakna ini turut dihadiri oleh YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Pengarah HCTM dan barisan Ahli Pengurusan HCTM yang lain, sekaligus nenunjukkan semangat perpaduan dan keharmonian dalam kalangan warga hospital.

Pembukaan Audit Pengawasan MS ISO 9001:2015 Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti (SPK) HCTM

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) hari ini menerima kehadiran Pasukan Audit daripada SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. bagi melaksanakan Audit Pengawasan MS ISO 9001:2015 Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti (SPK) HCTM yang berlangsung selama tiga (3) hari, bermula 25 hingga 27 Februari 2026. Audit ini merupakan komitmen berterusan HCTM dalam memastikan setiap perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan sentiasa memenuhi piawaian kualiti yang ditetapkan, selaras dengan aspirasi kecemerlangan organisasi dan kepuasan pelanggan.
Majlis pembukaan telah disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hamzaini Abdul Hamid, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Diagnostik, Farmasi dan Sokongan) yang mewakili Pengurusan HCTM di Bilik Mesyuarat Lembaga. Seterusnya, taklimat pelaksanaan audit telah disampaikan oleh Ketua Pasukan Audit SIRIM, YBrs. Encik Muhamad Faizudin bin Md. Lazim. Turut hadir ialah Ketua-Ketua Jabatan, pegawai-pegawai kanan serta warga HCTM.

Program Agihan Buah Kurma Bersama Pengurusan HCTM

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) menerusi Jabatan Komunikasi Korporat telah menganjurkan Program Agihan Buah Kurma Bersama Pengurusan HCTM yang berlangsung pada 11 Februari 2026 (Rabu), pukul 12.45 tengah hari bertempat di Lobi Utama, Blok Klinikal, HCTM. Sebanyak 1,000 pek buah kurma telah diagihkan kepada warga kerja dan pesakit HCTM. Program ini diadakan bagi menyambut kedatangan bulan Ramadan yang mulia serta mengeratkan hubungan silaturahim antara pihak Pengurusan HCTM bersama warga HCTM dan orang awam. Ahli Pengurusan HCTM yang hadir menjayakan program ini ialah YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Pengarah HCTM, YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Jamari Sapuan, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Surgeri), YBrs. Dr. Zairul Azwan Azman, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Perubatan), YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hamzaini Abdul Hamid, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Diagnostik, Farmasi, dan Sokongan), YBrs. BICARA PENGARAH: 4 FOKUS UTAMA HCTM 2026

Melangkah ke tahun 2026, Pengarah Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin telah menggariskan empat fokus utama sebagai teras hala tuju hospital ke arah kecemerlangan berterusan pada Bicara Pengarah sempena Majlis Perhimpunan Kakitangan HCTM Bil.1/2026, 4 Februari 2026. Fokus tersebut merangkumi pemerkasaan penggunaan teknologi digital, pengukuhan amalan kelestarian selaras dengan Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (SDG), pemantapan nilai integriti, serta keterlibatan aktif dalam khidmat masyarakat.


Berdasarkan amanatnya yang telah disampaikan, beliau berharap seluruh warga HCTM terus mara ke hadapan dengan tujuan yang jelas dan berfokus. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti myHCTM dan ePesakit@HCTM perlu diperkasakan bagi meningkatkan kecekapan perkhidmatan, seiring dengan pengamalan prinsip kelestarian dan pengukuhan integriti dalam setiap tindakan dan keputusan. Keempat-empat fokus ini menjadi pemacu kepada usaha bersepadu HCTM dalam merealisasikan visi dan misi hospital, demi perkhidmatan kesihatan yang mampan, berintegriti dan berimpak tinggi kepada masyarakat.


Beliau turut merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada seluruh warga kerja atas dedikasi dan komitmen yang telah dicurahkan sepanjang perjalanan ini. Majlis ini juga telah berlangsung pelancaran Podcast ‘Bila ST Bersuara Musim ke-2’, Simbolik Penyerahan Kunci Bilik Berduka, Penyerahan Sijil Anugerah Bitara Utama UKM, penyerahan Sijil Penghargaan Jabatan, Pelancaran Buku Mortaliti dan Morbiditi serta penyerahan Hadiah Pemenang Pertandingan Mencipta Slogan HCTM. Sokongan dan kerjasama padu semua pihak, HCTM diyakini akan terus maju ke hadapan dan kekal sebagai institusi kesihatan yang menjadi kebanggaan bersama.


Sunathon 2025 Programme

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), organised the 21st Sunathon Programme on 20 December 2025 (Saturday) at the Main Lobby of the Clinical Block, HCTM. The programme involved a total of 49 children comprising the children of staff from HCTM, Faculty of Medicine (FPER), Hospital Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani, the Specialist Children’s Hospital (Hospital TABTAR), as well as children from Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia. The circus-themed programme was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM.

Initiated in 2003, the programme has continued to this day as a meaningful community service tradition. Similar programmes have also been carried out in collaboration with various parties, including government agencies and the local community. Among the strategic partners involved were the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), as well as several healthcare institutions and non-governmental organisations. In this regard, the HCTM management also expressed its appreciation to RMHC Malaysia for its continuous support of HCTM-organised programmes, which not only ensured the smooth running of the event but also brought joy to the children involved. Among the HCTM responsibility centres involved in making this programme a success were the Director’s Office, Finance Department, Surgery Department, Nursing Services Department, Corporate Communications Department, Multimedia and Broadcasting Department, Medical Assistant Services Unit (U4P), Kuala Lumpur Campus Infrastructure Division (KKL), and the KKL Security Division.

The programme was also attended by YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Azlan Helmy Abd Samat, Assistant Dean (Entrepreneurship) representing the Dean of FPER, YBhg. Datin Dr. Anita Sulong, Deputy Director (Diagnostics, Pharmacy and Clinical Support) representing the Director of Hospital TABTAR, YBhg. Lt. Col. (PA) Professor Dato’ Dr. Zulkifli Md Zainuddin, Head of the Urology Unit, Department of Surgery, YBrs. Mr. Mursidi Ahamad, Deputy Director (Administration), YBrs. The Integrity Day Celebration of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM)

The Integrity Day Celebration of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), was held on 10 December 2025 (Wednesday) at 9.00 a.m. at the HCTM Auditorium. This programme marked the first time such an event had been organised by HCTM.

Integrity Day is observed annually on 5 November, while Anti-Corruption Day falls on 5 December. The organisation of this programme was one of the initiatives to enhance awareness of integrity and anti-corruption among the HCTM community. Activities conducted included the Malaysian Integrity Pledge, an Integrity Talk titled “Di Sana Menanti Di Sini Menunggu” delivered by Dr. Mohamad Shamsinor Abdul Azzis, Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaya and invited speaker, a Quiz Competition, as well as a Pantun Composition Competition held in conjunction with the celebration.

In his speech, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM, emphasised that integrity can be defined as doing the right thing even when no one is watching. He also stressed that integrity requires the courage to speak the truth despite challenges, accountability for every decision made, and a commitment to improving work processes for the common good.

The event was also attended by YBhg. Professor Dr. Hamzaini Abdul Hamid, Deputy Director (Diagnostic, Pharmacy and Support Services), YBrs. Taska Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Graduation Ceremony 2025

Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak (TASKA) of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), celebrated 24 children who received certificates of appreciation at the TASKA Graduation Ceremony for the 2025 Session on 3 December 2025 (Wednesday). The ceremony was held at the Auditorium, Advanced Surgical Skills Centre (ASSC), HCTM.

The welcoming address was delivered by YBrs. Mrs. Rohaya Ismail, Head of the Integrated Facilities Management Department and Chairperson of the TASKA Management Committee, while the ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM. In his speech, the Director of HCTM expressed his hope that the graduation ceremony would instil renewed motivation among the young graduates, in addition to serving as a symbol of support and appreciation for them. He also advised parents to continuously monitor their children who frequently play with digital devices, as excessive gadget use may have negative impacts on them.

The ceremony was enlivened by several special performances by the TASKA children before the presentation of graduation certificates by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM. Also present to grace the event were YBrs. Encik Mursidi Ahamad, Deputy Director (Administration), heads of departments, parents, and members of the HCTM community.
