Ceremony of Thanksgiving and ‘Doa Selamat’ for opening of the Primary Care Clinic UKMMC Cheras

A ceremony of thanksgiving and ‘Doa Selamat’ was held on 20th August 2016 in the waiting area of the Primary Care Clinic UKMMC Cheras.

 

The ceremony was held as an act of gratitude after a successful move from the Primary Care Center UKMMC at Bandar Tasik Selatan to a new clinic in Bandar Seri Permaisuri. It was also a tribute to the members of the clinic and the Department of Family Medicine UKMMC who had tirelessly prepared the Primary Care Clinic UKMMC Cheras for the clinic to begin operations on 1 September 2016.

 

During the ceremony, former members of the Department of Family Medicine UKMMC were also invited to liven up the ceremony and strengthen the friendship.

 

The ceremony began at 12 pm with the recital of Surah Yasin and followed by congregational Dhuhr prayer, which was solomnised by teaching staff and students of the Al- Fadhni Tahfiz School. Subsequently, the Head of the Department of Family Medicine UKMMC, Associate Professor Dr (PhD) Aznida Firzah Abdul Aziz delivered a welcome speech. “Doa Selamat” was read by Ustaz Omar Khairil Khuzairi before the guests enjoyed delicious meal prepared by the members of the clinic and the Department of Family Medicine.

 

Among the VIP guests present at the ceremony were Mr. Adli Muhammad, the chief operating officer UKMMC, Dr Zainah Mohamad and Mrs. Roslina Rasip from the Department of Nursing, and Major (Rtd) Ahmad Asri. The ceremony ended at 4.30pm.
