Cheras, 10 June 2022 – HCTM’s 2nd Staff Assembly was held at the Multipurpose Hall at Bangunan Tambahan and broadcasted live on YouTube HCTM TV and Facebook HCTM. The ceremony started at 9.00 am with the Negaraku song, Varsiti Kita song thereafter prayer recitation and a video of HCTM activities throughout January till May 2022.

YBhg. Prof. Dato ’Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM then delivered his speech by providing the latest information, updates on developments and efforts that have been done. Among notable information were the Endemic phase which commenced April 1st 2022, has seen a decreased in the number of COVID-19 patients and also the number of beds for COVID-19 patients being reduced to 20. Dato’ Dr. Razman also reminded of HCTM’s 25th Silver Jubilee celebration which was only 2 weeks away! He congratulated the departments and staff who made efforts to hold activities in conjunction with the celebration and hoped it will continue till end of the year.

Several large-scale activities in conjunction with the 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration will be organized in the coming months and the nearest is HCTM’s Quality Week which will be held next week with anticipation of exciting activities. He also congratulated the staff who received awards and promotions, but he is most proud of recognition where Advanced Surgical Skills Center Accreditation received on 29th April 2022 and QS World University Ranking has propelled UKM from 144 to 129. The program continued with the Medical Staff By-Laws Document Submission Session and the HCTM 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration Tiktok Competition Prize Giving ceremony. The assembly closes its curtain at 10.00 am.

Al-Fatihah and deepest condolences to the family of the late Prof. Dr. Syed Zulkifli Syed Zakaria, Former Director of Tuanku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani Hospital (HPKK) who returned to rahmatullah on 30 May 2022 equivalent to 29 Syawal 1443H.

Cheras, 17 February 2022 – World Nurses Day Celebration organized by the Department of Nursing Services was held at the HCTM Auditorium this afternoon. This year’s theme is ‘Nurses: A Voice To Lead – Invest In Nursing And Respect Rights To Secure Global Health’, the profession is the lifeblood and backbone of any health institution. The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Prof. Dato ‘Dr. Hanafiah Harunarashid, Pro Vice Chancellor of Kuala Lumpur UKM Campus.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Dato ‘Dr. Hanafiah conveyed million thanks to all nurses who sacrificed their time and energy to save the lives of patients during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the success of the National Covid-19 Immunization program and the MOHE KRIS Program. Today’s World Nurses Day celebration involved external invitations in the forum session, namely representatives from Cuepacs, the Public Service Department and representatives from the Malaysian Nurses Union in discussing the welfare, direction and challenges of nursing careers now and in the future.

Earlier, the Graceful & Excellent Nurses Seminar was held on the same day with several guest speakers such as Prof. Prof. Dr. Rohani Arshad, Prof. Adjunct of MAHSA University, Prof. Madya Sr. Dr. Norngainy Mohd Tawil, University Lecturer & Creativity Coordinator of UKM Department of Architecture and Built Environment, Puan Norasyikin Binti Johan, Dietetic Officer of the Department of Dietetic Services and Catering, and Puan Sabariah Shariff, Mary Kay Executive on sharing of information and experiences to those present.

CHERAS, 2 May 2022 – In conjunction with the First Raya of Aidilfitri, some food packages were distributed at 10.00 am at the Main Lobby after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Prayers held at Surau Ibnu Sina HCTM. This program was held to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with staff on-duty whom are unable to celebrate it with their loved ones due to work commitments.

A total of 500 food packs of various Hari Raya menus such as lemang, rendang ayam, nasi beriani, nasi himpit and kuah kacang were given to staff on duty. Food was handed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM who appeared in a Dark Blue Malay traditional attire.

Also present was Puan Masrifah Zakaria, Head of Nursing Services Department. Program was a simple gesture yet meaningful especially for those on duty during 1st Syawal.

CHERAS, 21 April 2022 – Majlis Bacaan Yasin dan Munajat Perdana yang diketuai oleh Ustaz Hasrizal Hasal telah diadakan di Surau Ibnu Sina HCTM pada jam 12.00 tengahari semalam. Program anjuran Pusat Islam Kampus Kuala Lumpur UKM dan Surau Ibnu Sina diadakan bersempena dengan Sambutan Jubli Perak HCTM dan sebagai salah satu aktiviti mengimarahkan bulan Ramadhan. Seramai 30 orang telah menyertai aktiviti bermunajat beramai-ramai secara fizikal di Surau Ibnu Sina. Siaran langsung secara atas talian di HCTM TV juga turut diadakan kepada warga HCTM dan UKM yang berkelapangan untuk turut serta dalam program ini. Program dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Pengarah HCTM dan diikuti dengan penyampaian sumbangan Hari Raya kepada wakil kakitangan terpilih. Turut hadir dalam program ini Prof. Madya Dr. Jamari Sapuan, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Surgeri), En. Mursidi Ahamad, Timbalan Pendaftar (Pentadbiran), dan Prof. Dr. Rohaizak Muhammad, Ketua Pusat Islam Kampus Kuala Lumpur UKM.

Congratulations Dr. Zairul Azwan Mohd Azman on his appointment as Deputy Director (Medical Services) of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz starting today (25th April 2022).
