Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Workshop
On March 8th-9th, 2019, Psychiatric Department held a Dialectical Behavior Therapy workshop. The objective of this program is to train Psychiatrists and Psychologists, counselors, medical officers, psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists trainee to understand the concept of `Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)` as one of the `evidence-based` psychological interventions and techniques for clinical purposes as well as research with knowledge and skills gained. A total of 35 participants participating in this workshop. The talk was delivered by Dr. Keng Shian Ling, one of the lecturers at Yale-NUS College, Singapore. There are many inputs that have been given by the speakers to the participants. It is hoped that this program will provide useful inputs to all participants and the result of this program can be one of the programs that will benefit the Psychiatric patients who need this treatment method.
