Debate Day: `Antipsychotics are Useful in Dementia Patients`
On June 26, 2018, debate activities were held at the Psychiatry Department titled Debate Day: `Antipsychotics are Useful in Dementia Patients` which was participated by three debaters comprising psychiatric physician students whose Dr. Chia, Dr. Norhajar, and Dr. Benedict while the judge comprises Prof. Dr. Hatta Sidi, Prof. Dr. Srijit Das, Prof. Dr. Hatta Shaharom, Dr. Hazli Zakaria and Dr. Haslina Mahadzir. This debate discusses whether the `antipsychotics` medicines are useful for dementia patients or not. Many inputs have been shared by the debaters about the advantages and disadvantages of `antipsychotics’ drugs to the audience of the debate. It is hoped that such activities can be held again in the future.
