Rendang Cooking Program with the Management of HCTM

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), through its Corporate Communication Department, organised the “Rendang Cooking Program with HCTM Management” on 16 March 2026 at the Gallery Space, Chancellor Tuanku Ja’afar Medical Education Complex, HCTM. As early as 9:00 a.m., volunteers comprising hospital staff began gathering to prepare a special dish in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. Various rendang preparation activities were carried out collaboratively, including cutting the meat, slicing onions, cooking the rendang in turns, and packing the food. The relaxed yet cooperative atmosphere clearly reflected the spirit of teamwork among HCTM staff, while also strengthening the bond between the management and hospital personnel. A total of 700 packs of beef rendang were successfully prepared for distribution to hospital staff. Starting from 3:00 p.m., the distribution area began to flood with staff who came to collect their rendang packs. Among the HCTM management present to make this programme a success were YBhg.
