Rendang Cooking Program with the Management of HCTM
The Bingkisan Kasih Aidilfitri HCTM Programme 2026, organised by Director Office, was held on 16 March 2026. The programme aimed to reach out to patients in the wards as a gesture of care and compassion from HCTM in conjunction with the upcoming Syawal 1447H celebration.
A total of 120 care package hampers were presented by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of HCTM, together with members of the HCTM Management team, to patients receiving treatment in the wards. The selected wards that received the hampers included the Orthopaedic Ward, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ward, Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, and Oncology Ward.
It is hoped that this contribution will bring joy and comfort to patients undergoing treatment at the hospital in anticipation of the Aidilfitri celebration.
Also present at the programme were Prof. Emeritus Dr. Mohamad Abd Razak, Chairman of the Board of Visitors, members of the Board of Visitors, Heads of Departments under the portfolio of the Deputy Director (Diagnostic, Pharmacy and Support Services), as well as the programme secretariat.
The Opening Ceremony of the Seminar Empowerment Profession of Medical Assistants (PPP), Series 2 /2026, was held on 8 January 2026 at the Auditorium, Komplek Pendidikan Perubatan Canselor Tuanku Ja’afar, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM).
The seminar, themed “Upholding the Profession of Medical Assistants in the Era of Digitalisation and Globalisation,” was organised by the Medical Assistant Services Unit of HCTM (U4P). It aimed to serve as a platform to discuss the career direction of Medical Assistants (PPP), as well as a medium for conveying the roles of the National Union of Medical Assistants of Peninsular Malaysia, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya, and the Medical Assistants Association, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya Branch.
The ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Jamari Sapuan, Deputy Director (Surgical Services), representing the Director of HCTM. In his opening address, Associate Professor Dr. Jamari stated that Medical Assistants (PPP) are an important asset in the national healthcare delivery system. He noted that PPPs play a significant role in ensuring continuity of care, patient safety, and the effectiveness of clinical services. He also emphasised that the empowerment of the PPP profession should be viewed holistically, not only in terms of clinical duties, but also encompassing the development of professional competencies, leadership, integrity, digital literacy, and clear and progressive career pathways.
