Intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) Team & Case Management in HCTM

- Intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) therapy consists of delivering a liquid form of Baclofen directly into the spinal fluid, using a device called the Baclofen pump. It is used for the treatment of severe spasticity.
- The ITB team started its services on 4/8/2020.
- The team uses a Multidisciplinary Team approach consisting of Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurosurgery, Nursing and Allied Health services as part of patient management.
