This is a renewal course for BLS intended for previously BLS-certified provider. This course teaches the participants the basic principle of resuscitating a collapse victim. The knowledg of Basic Life Support (BLS) is important to everyone since anyone can died suddenly because of various causes such as heart attack, chocking or having massive stroke. This incident can occur anywhere and most of the time without any warning. It can happen to your loved one, relative, colleague or even passerby. When these things happen, immediate aid should be given to them within the first four minutes of the incident if we want to save them. This is because any delay in rendering help to these victims will result in unsalvageable condition.<\/p>\n

This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.<\/p>\n

ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology. Skills are taught in large-group sessions and small-group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are simulated. Participants must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for an ACLS Course Completion Card. To be successful in any ACLS course, participants should be able to identify ECG rhythms and should know the pharmacology specific to cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies before beginning the course. It is strongly recommended that participants review the ACLS course materials and complete a pre-course self-assessment using the tools in their student materials before starting the course.<\/p>\n

The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.<\/p>\nThe PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children.
