1. Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR, AED use and choking relief.
2. This course uses AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows students to mimic accurate skills being performed on the DVD while instructors provide feedback and guide the students’ skill learning
3. This course ape open for public/lay person with limited medical background who interested in providing emergency care.

There are 3 options in Heartsaver Course:

Heartsaver® CPR AED — features hands-on adult CPR AED training, and includes optional modules on child CPR AED and infant CPR. (This course replaces the Heartsaver® CPR and Heartsaver® AED courses.)

Heartsaver® First Aid — provides first responders with training in basic first-aid procedures.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED — combines basic first aid with CPR AED training.

The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

After successfully completing the BLS course, students should be able to:

• describe the importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival

• recognize the signs of someone needing CPR
• perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants
• describe the importance of early AED use and demonstrate using one
• provide effective ventilations with a barrier device
• describe the importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and perform as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
• describe the technique for relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.

This is a renewal course for BLS intended for previously BLS-certified provider. This course teaches the participants the basic principle of resuscitating a collapse victim. The knowledg of Basic Life Support (BLS) is important to everyone since anyone can died suddenly because of various causes such as heart attack, chocking or having massive stroke. This incident can occur anywhere and most of the time without any warning. It can happen to your loved one, relative, colleague or even passerby. When these things happen, immediate aid should be given to them within the first four minutes of the incident if we want to save them. This is because any delay in rendering help to these victims will result in unsalvageable condition.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

The American Heart Association ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology. Skills are taught in large-group sessions and small-group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are simulated. Participants must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for an ACLS Course Completion Card. To be successful in any ACLS course, participants should be able to identify ECG rhythms and should know the pharmacology specific to cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies before beginning the course. It is strongly recommended that participants review the ACLS course materials and complete a pre-course self-assessment using the tools in their student materials before starting the course.

ACLS – EP

The goal of the ACLS EP Course is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (eg, metabolic, toxicologic) emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Through instruction and active participation in case-based scenarios, learners enhance their skills in the differential diagnosis and treatment of prearrest, arrest and postarrest patients.

ACLS EP has been updated to reflect science from the following:
2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC
2013 American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF)/AHA Guidelines for the Management of ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction
2012 ACCF/AHA Focused Update of the Guideline for the Management of Patients With Unstable Angina/Non–ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
