Dato\u2019 Dr. Azmi Baharudin, Director of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), officiated the &#8216;Post-Stroke Care &amp; Rehabilitation Workshop: Updates, Challenges &amp; Opportunities&#8217; on 6 November 2024, at the Auditorium, Canselor Tuanku Ja\u2019afar Medical Education Complex, HCTM. The workshop aimed to strengthen knowledge and collaboration in the care and rehabilitation of stroke patients, involving expertise from various disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0In his speech, the Director of HCTM emphasized the importance of teamwork and communication among healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive services. HCTM is also internationally recognized with the \u2018Advanced Stroke Centre\u2019 award for its excellent management of stroke patients, skills, and collaboration in delivering high-quality stroke services, as awarded by the World Stroke Organization (WSO).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also present at the event were YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Syahrul Sazliyana Shaharir, Assistant Dean (Clinical Services), representing the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UKM, YBrs. Dr. Rosyidah Arafat, Director of Nursing &amp; Non-Medical Support Services, Hasanuddin University Hospital, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hamzaini Abdul Hamid, Deputy Director (Diagnostic Services, Pharmacy, and Clinical Support) HCTM, YBrs.
