Prof. Dato&amp;#39; Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM, has completed the opening ceremony of the 3 TESLA MRI Machine of the Department of Radiology at the Meeting Room of the Department of Radiology Services, HTCM Clinical Block, today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Director of HCTM congratulated the Department of Radiology for successfully acquiring the 3 TESLA MRI machine. He added that the machine will be fully used starting 11 March 2024. \u201cThe purchase of this MRI machine is due to the increasing demand for cases that require high-capacity machines to enable more patients to undergo MRI screening at HCTM,\u201d he said during the opening ceremony of the 3 TESLA MRI Machine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This ceremony aims to introduce the usage and new applications of the 3 TESLA MRI machine to the management and hospital. The 3T (Signa Hero) MRI machine is a 70cm magnetic resonance imaging scanner built to streamline workflow faster while improving image quality and prioritizing patient comfort. The machine installed at the Department of Radiology HCTM was the first to be used in Malaysia to replace the old MRI machine that had been used since 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also present, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jamari Sapuan, Deputy Director (Surgical Services) carried out the duties of Deputy Director (Diagnostic, Pharmacy and Support Services), Assoc. Prof. Datin Dr. Shahizon Azura Mohamed Mukari, Head of Radiology Department, Encik Mohd Fahmeey Hashim, Head of KKL Prasarana Department, Encik Mohamad Norman Mohd.
