CHERAS, 23 December 2021 \u2013 HCTM\u2019s last Staff Assembly for the year was held this morning at the Auditorium and broadcasted live on YouTube HCTM TV and Facebook HCTM. YBhg. Prof. Dato \u2018Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM delivered his speech by sharing appointments of YBhg. Prof. Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr. Mohamad Abd Razak as Chairman of UKM\u2019s Board of Director, replacing YBhg. Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar; YBhg. Dato\u2019 Dr. Syed Kamarudin Sadakkuthulla as \u2018stand-in\u2019 Registrar of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, YBsh. Prof. Dr. Jamari Sapuan as the new Deputy Director for Surgical Services HCTM and Puan Masrifah Zakaria carrying out duties as \u2018stand-in\u2019 Head of Department of Nursing Services HCTM.<\/p>\n

Hospital Director also stated that HCTM will turn 25 next year thus planning for the Silver Jubilee celebration in full swing. Not forgetting condolences were extended to Kampus Kuala Lumpur and HCTM\u2019s staffs who were affected by the recent damaging floods. We were made to understand some 141 staffs were affected by this disaster and UKM Kuala Lumpur Campus Post-Flood Relief team had been activated and mobilized since last Monday (20\/12\/2021). A word of thanks and appreciation goes to the staff who volunteered to assist in the post-flood relief mission. Financial assistance came from Tabung Ehsan Warga which we hoped had somewhat alleviated the burden of the affected staff.<\/p>\n

To ensure all staff are aware and updated on to the development of infrastructures in HCTM, Hospital Director presented a slide containing information on the obsolete infrastructure replacement project, the medical equipment replacement project, the medical department upgrade project, and the obsolete medical equipment replacement project from Operation Theatres, Maternity Operation Theatres & Radiology. Finally before closing the curtain at 10 am, Hospital Director officiated launch of the first Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Policy, in line with MSQH requirements.<\/p>\n
