\nThe UMP service in collaboration with Pos Malaysia is one of the latest services created by the Pharmacy Department.<\/p>\n

UMP Service Criteria<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Patient<\/td>\n\n
    \n
  • Comply and understand how to use and consume the medication<\/li>\n
  • Stable<\/li>\n
  • Agreed to pay for the Delivery (in cash)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Prescription<\/td>\n\n
    \n
  • New prescription and follow-up<\/li>\n
  • Period exceeding 2 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Medication<\/td>\n\n
    \n
  • Dosage form – tablet, capsuls, inhaler<\/li>\n
  • Does not require special storage condition (example: cold chain medication)<\/li>\n
  • Not a psychotropic\/dangerous drug<\/li>\n
  • Not in a glass bottle or in injection form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    How to Register for UMP Services<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Save the UMP contact number in your phone (make sure the profile name is \u2018UMP HCTM\u2019). 018-9682218<\/li>\n
    2. Download the Telegram Messenger Application from Playstore (Android) or Appstore (Apple) or scan the QR code below.<\/li>\n
    3. Open the Telegram application and send a message to UMP with the following details
      \nPatient’s name
      \nRN (Registration number, example N123456 \/ M123456)
      \nFull address of the destination<\/li>\n
    4. Please wait for the next instruction<\/li>\n
    5. Orders will be served within 2-3 working days (8.30 am \u2013 4.30 pm, Monday – Friday)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Reminder<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Any cancellation of UMP Services must be made at least 10 days prior to the follow-up supply date<\/li>\n
      2. Expect a delay on the part of UMP to respond to messages on Telegram due to high demand traffic<\/li>\n
      3. Medication will be delivered at least 7 days before the date of the next follow-up medication supply<\/li>\n
      4. Medication can be delivered according to the preference stated by the patient either at home or at the office<\/li>\n
      5. Delivery charges for UMP Services would depend on the destination and weight of the sent item (as low as RM5.30)<\/li>\n
      6. Kindly contact UMP Services should the medicine received did not tele with the prescription<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        2. CALL AND PICK SERVICE (PDA)<\/b><\/strong>
        \nPDA service is a service provided to save patients from long waiting time at the pharmacy, without having to take a queue number.<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Terms<\/b><\/p>\n

        1. Only for repeated prescriptions<\/li>\n
        2. For patients with \u2018non-paying\u2019 status only<\/li>\n
        3. For formulary medication only<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

           <\/p>\n

          How to Register for PDA Services<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Kindly ring 03-91458241 at least one day before intake of medication.<\/li>\n
          2. Provide the following details:
            \nPatient’s name
            \nRN (Registration number, e.g. N123456 \/ M123456)
            \nDate of medication intake
            \nPDA serial number (for existing users)
            \nDesignated clinic<\/li>\n
          3. Obtain the PDA serial number from the staff on duty (new registration)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

             <\/p>\n

            Medication Collection Day<\/b><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Present yourself at counter 2 of the Main Outpatient Pharmacy, on weekdays from 7.30 am – 6.00 pm<\/li>\n
            2. Submit the serial number of the PDA provided.<\/li>\n
            3. Collect and cross-check the received medication together with the prescription. Kindly ensure the medication received is adequate and correct.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
