Emergency medical services are for patients who need immediate attention. This service is provided by the Department of Emergency Medicine.<\/p>\n<h3>Services provided at HCTM\u2019s Emergency Medicine<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Critical emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Non -critical emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Pre-Hospital<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>What is a Triage?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Triage means division. Any patients who seek treatment in this Department will be triaged (divided) to determine the level of well-being of their condition. Priority will be given to truly emergency cases only. Every patient who comes to JPE is entitled to receive an assessment in the Primary Triage and an assessment in the Secondary Triage or Red Box before a decision to accept or reject a patient is being made.
