  2. To provide counselling and health education to patients and family members<\/li>\n
  3. To enable kidney failure patients to enjoy quality of life<\/li>\n
  4. To tighten infection control in hemodialysis unit<\/li>\n
  5. To conduct theory and practical training to all skilled and efficient staff in the field of haemodialysis care.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Location<\/strong>
    \nThere are 3 HD units:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Acute Haemodialysis Unit (Level 6, HCTM)<\/li>\n
    2. Subcute Haemodialysis Unit (Level 5, HCTM)<\/li>\n
    3. UKM Bangi Satellite Haemodialysis Unit<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Operating Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Acute Haemodialysis Unit (6th Floor, HCTM) <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Operates 24 hourly<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Morning Shift (7.00 am-2.00 pm)<\/li>\n
        • Evening Shift (2.00 pm-9.00 pm)<\/li>\n
        • Night Shift (9.00 pm-7.00 am)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          1. Subcute Haemodialysis Unit (5th Floor, HCTM)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Operates daily from 7am to 9pm except on Sunday<\/p>\n

            • Morning Shift (7.00 am-2.00 pm)<\/li>\n
            • Evening Shift (2.00 pm-9.00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Operates daily from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm except on Sunday<\/p>\n

                • 2nd Shift (10.00 am-5.00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
