Objectives
- To provide quality and safe dialysis care to patients with kidney failure
- To provide counselling and health education to patients and family members
- To enable kidney failure patients to enjoy quality of life
- To tighten infection control in hemodialysis unit
- To conduct theory and practical training to all skilled and efficient staff in the field of haemodialysis care.
Location
There are 3 HD units:
- Acute Haemodialysis Unit (Level 6, HCTM)
- Subcute Haemodialysis Unit (Level 5, HCTM)
- UKM Bangi Satellite Haemodialysis Unit
Operating Hours
- Acute Haemodialysis Unit (6th Floor, HCTM)
Operates 24 hourly
- Morning Shift (7.00 am-2.00 pm)
- Evening Shift (2.00 pm-9.00 pm)
- Night Shift (9.00 pm-7.00 am)
- Subcute Haemodialysis Unit (5th Floor, HCTM)
Operates daily from 7am to 9pm except on Sunday
- Morning Shift (7.00 am-2.00 pm)
- Evening Shift (2.00 pm-9.00 pm)
- UKM Bangi Satellite Haemodialysis Unit
Operates daily from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm except on Sunday
- 1st Shift (7.00 am-2.00 pm)
- 2nd Shift (10.00 am-5.00 pm)
