HCTM Staff Assembly No. 1/2024
CHERAS, 29 January 2024 – A total of 200 staff of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz and UKM Kuala Lumpur Campus attended the HCTM Staff Assembly No. 1/2024 which held in the Gallery , Kompleks Pendidikan Perubatan Canselor Tuanku Ja’afar, HCTM. Decorated with neon lights which are symbolic of modern urban fashion, the first assembly opened its curtain with a speech and message from YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM.
Throughout the year 2023, various successes and excellences have been achieved by HCTM whether at the individual, department, university or international level. Recalling the achievements of 2023, several successes were highlighted such as the Staff Sports Championship between UKM Clusters, the Bitara Kelestarian Award (Service Center-HCTM) in conjunction with the UKM Bitara Award Ceremony, the 5-Star Rating of myPortfolio HCTM implementation in conjunction with the Inspectorate, and the Parade Champion (Pusat Tanggungjawab Category) UKM KL Campus Contingent in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1445H/2023. In addition, throughout the year 2023, a total of 58 service activity programs, 53 official events organized by the department and PTj, and 37 corporate and academic visit activities domestically and abroad have been carried out. Several new services at HCTM were introduced last year and early this year, including the establishment of 2 units under the Heart and Lung Center, namely the Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit and the Cardiology Unit, the establishment of the Assistant Medical Officer Supervision Unit, the establishment of the HCTM Occupational Health Clinic, and the establishment of the Unit HCTM Public Health from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026 led by YBhg. Mejar Bersekutu (PA) Prof. Dr. Mohd. Rohaizat Hassan.
Taking this opportunity, he announced that 2024 is the Year of Strengthening HCTM where enforcement covers aspects of regulations, directives and circulars to be used for all HCTM staff. Strengthening a quality management system that has high resilience and a responsive, dynamic and inclusive mastery approach through the 6R STRATEGY ie Recovery, Reform, Restart, Revitalise, Resolve, and Resilience.
The staff present were also introduced to the Sustain Development Goals (SDG) as well as Strategic Collaboration and Networking with various parties in helping to improve the skills of the workforce through partnership, involvement or training. In the same event, the Malaysian Society Quality in Health (MSQH) Certificate Presentation and the Opening of the Emergency Medicine Department Ambulance were also held. The ceremony was attended by all Deputy Directors, Deputy Registrars, Heads of Departments, and UKM staffs.
