HCTM Nursery Graduation Ceremony 2022
CHERAS, 1 December 2022 – HCTM Nursery Graduation Ceremony 2022 was held this morning at the ASSC HCTM Auditorium. This program organized by the HCTM Nursery, Department of Integrated Facility Management was to celebrate the 24 children who graduated from the Nursery. HCTM Nursery previously known as Taska Pujangga HUKM followed by PERMATA Nursery UKM Medical Center shortly. The nursery started in early 1998 after HCTM were opened and has reached 24 years of establishment.
Early childhood education has become a main discussion agenda for the country, especially government and private organizations that are increasingly active in establishing nurseries in the workplace to provide a better welfare for staffs. HCTM’s nursery services cover the care and education of staff’s children aged three (3) months to four (4) years. The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Professor Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM. Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Mursidi Ahamad, Deputy Registrar of HCTM, Mrs. Zuraidah Konil, Head of Integrated Facilities Management Department of HCTM, Nursery educators and parents.
The Driving Rehabilitation Program, “Return To Drive” (RTD)
The Driving Rehabilitation Program, “Return To Drive” (RTD) is one of the services offered by the Occupational Therapy Unit, Department of Medical Rehabilitation Services, HCTM. This workshop aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of therapists in handling assessment and treatment interventions and share the development of the driving rehabilitation program at the Occupational Therapy Unit. This program will be held on the following details:-

Inauguration Ceremony of Invocell Service and Recognition of Malaysia Book Of Record (MBOR) and MoU Signing Ceremony Between UKM and SNS MURNI SDN.BHD.
CHERAS, 18 Ogos 2022 – Majlis Perasmian Program Penggunaan Invocell Serta Pengiktirafan Malaysia Book Of Record (MBOR) dan Majlis Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman Antara UKM dengan SNS MURNI SDN.BHD. telah diadakan di Dewan Serbaguna, Blok Tambahan Kompleks Pendidikan Perubatan Canselor Tuanku Jaafar, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz.
Pusat Reproduktif Termaju (PRT) HCTM telah melancarkan perkhidmatan terbaharu iaitu penggunaan Tiub Vagina INVOcell hasil kolaborasi bersama SNS Murni Sdn. Bhd. dalam perawatan bayi tabung uji merupakan perkhidmatan terkini dan alternatif kepada rawatan IVF sedia ada. Ia merupakan perkhidmatan baharu dan pertama di Malaysia. Ketika ini proses pembentukan embrio dilakukan di dalam makmal menggunakan mesin inkubator canggih dan mahal, namun melalui kaedah INVOcell, penggunaan mesin inkubator ini dapat dikurangkan kerana tiub ini akan dimasukkan ke dalam vagina pesakit dan bertindak sebagai inkubator natural yang akan membantu pembentukan embrio secara semulajadi. Justeru itu perasaan menghasilkan bayi ‘sendiri’ dapat dirasai oleh pesakit kerana mereka akan pulang bersama tiub ini. Embrio yang terhasil secara semulajadi ini akan dimasukkan ke dalam rahim mengikut hari yang tertentu.
Majlis telah dirasmikan oleh YBrs. Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, wakil Menteri Sains Teknologi dan Inovasi. Majlis ini turut akan dihadiri oleh YBhg. Profesor Dato’ Dr. Hanafiah Harunarashid, Pro Naib Canselor UKM (Kampus Kuala Lumpur), YBhg. Profesor Dato Dr. Razman Jarmin, Pengarah HCTM, dan YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Narimah Awin, Chairman Rasumi Group.
Inauguration of TB Day Awareness Campaign
Cheras, 21 June 2022 – TIBI Day Awareness organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Unit (UKKP) in collaboration with the Respiratory Unit, Department of Medicine, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Corporate Communication & Customer Service and the UKM Faculty of Medicine Student Association (PERSIAP) was held briefly this morning at the Main Lobby of HCTM.
World TB Day which is celebrated on March 24 every year is to commemorate the history of the discovery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria by Dr. Robert Koch on March 24, 1882. Themed “Invest to End TB. Save lives”, this celebration aims to increase awareness, support from all parties to the prevention and control efforts of TB disease carried out around the world. Tuberculosis or TB is an infectious disease that spreads through the air and has the potential to seriously affect a person’s lung health. The symptoms of TB are a prolonged cough that lasts more than two (2) weeks, fever, night sweats, lack of appetite, weight loss and bloody cough. Individuals with symptoms need to undergo preliminary examination and treatment at nearby health clinics and hospitals.
The ceremony was inaugurate by YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM. Also present at the event Associate Prof. Dr. Jamari Sapuan, Deputy Director (Surgical Services), Dr. Zairul Azwan Mohd Azman, Deputy Director Medical Services), Mr. Mursidi Ahamad, Deputy Registrar (Administration), and Dr. Khamsiah Nawawi, Head of Occupational Safety and Health Unit cum TB Awareness Day Program Advisor.
Congratulations to recipients of Bitara and Sanjungan Bakti Awards
The Bitara and Sanjungan Bakti Award Ceremony was held on 17 June 2022 to mark the end of Quality Week. A total of 67 awards from various categories were given to honor staffs. The complete list of award recipients can be found at the link below.
HCTM Second Staff Assembly 2022
Cheras, 10 June 2022 – HCTM’s 2nd Staff Assembly was held at the Multipurpose Hall at Bangunan Tambahan and broadcasted live on YouTube HCTM TV and Facebook HCTM. The ceremony started at 9.00 am with the Negaraku song, Varsiti Kita song thereafter prayer recitation and a video of HCTM activities throughout January till May 2022.
YBhg. Prof. Dato ’Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM then delivered his speech by providing the latest information, updates on developments and efforts that have been done. Among notable information were the Endemic phase which commenced April 1st 2022, has seen a decreased in the number of COVID-19 patients and also the number of beds for COVID-19 patients being reduced to 20. Dato’ Dr. Razman also reminded of HCTM’s 25th Silver Jubilee celebration which was only 2 weeks away! He congratulated the departments and staff who made efforts to hold activities in conjunction with the celebration and hoped it will continue till end of the year.
Several large-scale activities in conjunction with the 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration will be organized in the coming months and the nearest is HCTM’s Quality Week which will be held next week with anticipation of exciting activities. He also congratulated the staff who received awards and promotions, but he is most proud of recognition where Advanced Surgical Skills Center Accreditation received on 29th April 2022 and QS World University Ranking has propelled UKM from 144 to 129. The program continued with the Medical Staff By-Laws Document Submission Session and the HCTM 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration Tiktok Competition Prize Giving ceremony. The assembly closes its curtain at 10.00 am.
