Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz’s Occupational Health Clinic

15 Jan 2024 2024, News, News 2024

CHERAS, January 15, 2024 – YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM was present to inaugurate the Occupational Health Clinic in the Lobby Room of the Advanced Surgical Skills Center HCTM, early this morning.

The establishment of the Occupational Health Clinic is the result of management discussions and the MSQH survey carried out in 2021. During the review of the MSQH programs, it was found that some duties overlap between the Occupational Safety and Health Unit (UKKP), the Infection Control Unit (UKI) and the Warga Clinic. In line with the increment numbers of staff and competency, the Safety and Health Unit (UKKP) is ready to give a high commitment to run the HCTM Occupational Health Clinic which has been operational on 1 November 2023.

HCTM’s Occupational Health Clinic provides services such as acute injury case management, blood and radiology tests, vaccinations, health check-ups and referred cases of occupational disease or occupational poisoning as well as managing “return to work” cases.

Also present at the ceremony was Dr. Zairul Azwan Mohd Azman, Deputy Director (Medical Services), Mr. Mursidi Ahamad, Deputy Registrar, Department Heads, Senior Officials of the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Public University Teaching Hospital and HCTM staff.
