In conjunction with Suicide Prevention Day 2022, a debate event with theme “This House Would Hold Cyberbullies Accountable For The Suicides of Their Targets” will be held on 22 September 2022, at 10.30 am. The public and staffs can watch this debate live on HCTM TV. The main purpose of this debate event is to be a platform and space to discuss issues related to suicide openly and safely. The organization of this debate event, involving external invitations consisting of a panel of judges and high-caliber debaters with the aim of increasing public awareness about the risks of cyber bullying including the role of social media, civil society and media organizations in efforts to prevent suicide.

HCTM’s Jom Fabrik 2.0 programme was inaugurated last August 9, 2022 with the aim of educating the younger generation, especially students, staff and patients about the importance of recycling used fabrics and created awareness to the community. Staffs, students, and publics are invited and welcome to donate used fabric such as clothes, pillowcases, blankets, shoes, sheets, towels, bags or any fabric items. Those items can be put in the Let’s Fabric Bin that has been prepared in front of the Nurses Dormitory Block.

Sambutan Hari Fisioterapi Sedunia Peringkat HCTM anjuran Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pemulihan Perubatan telah diadakan di Ruang Legar, Basemen Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pemulihan Perubatan pada pagi. Bertemakan ‘Arthritis dan Rheumatologi’, sambutan kali ini menekankan kepentingan menjaga berat badan untuk menghindari masalah Arthritis dan Rheumatologi. Pelbagai aktiviti telah diatur oleh penganjur antaranya senamrobik, pertandingan fitness challenges, pameran reruai, dan sesi ceramah kesihatan.

Majlis telah dirasmikan oleh YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Hanita Othman, Timbalan Pengarah (Perkhidmatan Diagnostik. Farmasi dan Sokongan). Turut hadir dalam majlis ini YBr. Puan Zunaidah Abu Saman, Ketua Unit Fisioterapi, wakil Ketua Jabatan Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pemulihan Perubatan, ketua-ketua jabatan dan ketua unit, serta para peserta.

Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz’s 25th Anniversary Celebration Committee is organizing a Logo Competition. The objective of this competition is to get one (1) Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz logo that will be used as an identity.

The terms and conditions are as follows:

1. This competition is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above;
2. Each design must include the text HOSPITAL CHANCELLOR TUANKU MUHRIZ or HCTM;
3. The description of each color and shape used in the logo design must be stated together;
4. Participants can send as many entries, however only one (1) entry will be selected as the winner;
5. The design must use Adobe Illustrator (AI) software and be submitted to shasheela@ppukm.ukm.edu.my;
6. The closing date for participation is 15 August 2022 (Monday);
7. Participants need to complete the Entry Form as attached A;
8. The terms and conditions are as attached B.
