1. MEDICATION BY POST (UMP)
The UMP service in collaboration with Pos Malaysia is one of the latest services created by the Pharmacy Department.

 

UMP Service Criteria

Patient
  • Comply and understand how to use and consume the medication
  • Stable
  • Agreed to pay for the Delivery (in cash)
Prescription
  • New prescription and follow-up
  • Period exceeding 2 months
Medication
  • Dosage form – tablet, capsuls, inhaler
  • Does not require special storage condition (example: cold chain medication)
  • Not a psychotropic/dangerous drug
  • Not in a glass bottle or in injection form

 

How to Register for UMP Services

  1. Save the UMP contact number in your phone (make sure the profile name is ‘UMP HCTM’). 018-9682218
  2. Download the Telegram Messenger Application from Playstore (Android) or Appstore (Apple) or scan the QR code below.
  3. Open the Telegram application and send a message to UMP with the following details
    Patient’s name
    RN (Registration number, example N123456 / M123456)
    Full address of the destination
  4. Please wait for the next instruction
  5. Orders will be served within 2-3 working days (8.30 am – 4.30 pm, Monday – Friday)

Reminder

  1. Any cancellation of UMP Services must be made at least 10 days prior to the follow-up supply date
  2. Expect a delay on the part of UMP to respond to messages on Telegram due to high demand traffic
  3. Medication will be delivered at least 7 days before the date of the next follow-up medication supply
  4. Medication can be delivered according to the preference stated by the patient either at home or at the office
  5. Delivery charges for UMP Services would depend on the destination and weight of the sent item (as low as RM5.30)
  6. Kindly contact UMP Services should the medicine received did not tele with the prescription

2. CALL AND PICK SERVICE (PDA)
PDA service is a service provided to save patients from long waiting time at the pharmacy, without having to take a queue number.

 

Terms

  1. Only for repeated prescriptions
  2. For patients with ‘non-paying’ status only
  3. For formulary medication only

 

How to Register for PDA Services

  1. Kindly ring 03-91458241 at least one day before intake of medication.
  2. Provide the following details:
    Patient’s name
    RN (Registration number, e.g. N123456 / M123456)
    Date of medication intake
    PDA serial number (for existing users)
    Designated clinic
  3. Obtain the PDA serial number from the staff on duty (new registration)

 

Medication Collection Day

  1. Present yourself at counter 2 of the Main Outpatient Pharmacy, on weekdays from 7.30 am – 6.00 pm
  2. Submit the serial number of the PDA provided.
  3. Collect and cross-check the received medication together with the prescription. Kindly ensure the medication received is adequate and correct.
